  • Lose Weight Really Fast

Pounds lost 5, 12, 17, 22, 35…..40!  Wouldn’t it feel good to have that as yourweight loss track record?  I know I wouldbe thrilled to get results like that.

After pregnancy, women are looking to trimdown…. Get rid of that tummy fat. Especially if you’ve had more than one child.  It is very tough to get out of the hospital, breast feed, take care of an infant, deal with your changing body and hormones,oh, and lose weight too!  In fact, thatextra weight is slowing you down.  Iactually did breast feed for 6 months, but the weight did not just “fall off”like many said it would.  Some fell off, yes, but using the phrase “the weight just fell off” or I was able to lose weight really fast would be quite an exaggeration.

The Real Reason You're FAT - Regardless of Diet & Exercise

I also had quite a surprise while I was breastfeeding.  For some reason – probablyhormonal reasons – I started getting headaches. Lots of headaches.  And not justheacaches, but migraine headaches.

I noticed that the amount of sugar I ate was akey indicator in my headaches.  And I’msure sugar has played a role in my ability to lose weight as well.  Has sugar been playing a negative role inyour ability to lose weight?  I know forme, as I am approaching 40, sugar is not my friend!  Sure, I like to eat sugar, but that is besidethe point.  Ever since I had my latestchild, sugar is giving me not only headaches, but migraine headaches.  I now have a very low sugar leveltolerance.  If I eat anything with ashiny sugary glaze on it, that’s it for me. I go spiraling into a headache.

I’ve had to reduce sugar in my tea, in mycoffee, change the cereal I eat for breakfast (I now eat bran or some sort ofhigh fiber breakfast with no added sugar), and especially watch what I eat onan empty stomach.  I can’t even eat anapple on an empty stomach.  Migraine city.

But this article isn’t really about headaches –it’s about what I put into my body.  Ihave had to eat more natural foods. Sort-of a forced, natural foods diet. As a result I HAVE lost weight. Just cutting out most sugar has helped me trim down.  But it hasn’t led me to lose weight really fast.  It has been coming off slowly…..very slowly.

So I have thrown exercise into the mix – buthonestly, I am so busy running my household and taking care of my family that Idon’t have tons of time to spend in the gym. On a good week, I get 90 minutes of exercise in per week – but mostweeks about 60 minutes.

So, although the natural weight loss methods ofeating “natural” foods and exercising are working somewhat.  The “natural” way really isn’t helping meshed pounds fast….and that’s what I need. A healthy way to shed pounds fast.

I know that certain foods are known to boostmetabolism, such as yogurt, fish, chicken, turkey and basically any “protein”source.  Foods with protein are supposeto really give your metabolism a kick in the pants.  I, however, HAVE to eat protein with everymeal….  If I just eat carbs, then mysugar levels get all out of whack and I am back into migraine land.  But I haven’t really noticed any major boostsin metabolism to be quite honest.

So what is out there for me?  What can help me get that “boost” I need to lose weight really fast?  Or at least faster?
